Evis Resort

Evis Resort is situated on Nggatirana Island – a stunning, privately owned coral island surrounded by the crystal clear waters of the Nono and Marovo Lagoons. The area of the island and the house reef is a designated conservation area with the resort being the only development on the island.

Evis Resort is a welcome addition to Solomon Islands’ off-the-grid accommodation options, offering a comfortable and secluded stay for travellers seeking a personalised island experience. The resort consists of three individual architecturally designed, premium beachfront bungalows, plus a central unit consisting of restaurant, bar, visitor centre and convenience rooms.

Activities include hill walking, snorkelling, scuba diving, kayaking and of course relaxing. With all this and more, we are sure you will experience a holiday to remember at Evis Resort.

Accommodation at Evis Resort

As at January 2018, three bungalows (single units) have been completed. Each bungalow has one large kingsized bedroom, a separate lobby with a door to the rear access ramp and ensuite bathroom with soap, shower gel and shampoo. Idyllic lagoon views can be enjoyed from each bungalow’s large verandahs, two of which offer direct beach access and a ramp/bridge to the round the island path (excluding Unit 3).

Unit 3 has been designed with the special needs of disabled travellers in mind. Doors are extra wide (900mm), and power sockets are mounted higher up the wall than usual. Unit 3 is connected directly to the central unit by means of a flat bridge and to a 2.1 metre wide beachhead boardwalk by means of a gentle 8% ramp.

All units are provided with harvested rainwater which is pumped to each unit. Power is currently generator‐set, but will eventually be converted to solar. Each unit is equipped with Australian 10 Amp, 3 pin sockets for charging phones, tablets and laptops etc.

A further single unit plus a two bedroomed flexi‐unit are also currently under construction and should be finished during 2018.
